Almost finished!

Surprise! This is our new car, Midnight. She is a 2006 Subaru Impreza wagon. We are such proud parents! (teehee)

Well, I will most likely be blogging more again soon. Today is the last day of my two week intensive (and it has been!) massage course. I have been up since 6:00 am this morning (test day jitters I think). It didn't help that last night was humid, humid, HUMID and I had test dreams ALL NIGHT. I have no worries about the actual test portions of the course. Our teacher, Monica has been great at giving feedback throughout the course so that we would all be prepared. She also assured me that there really isn't much worry about me failing. So the next time I blog I will officially be a "certified" relaxation masseuse! :)

I have also been getting geared up for recording. Although I am postponing it (Derek's suggestion so that I don't go insane in the one or two days between when I finish my course and when I was supposed to be recording) I am getting closer and closer to having all my pieces ready for production. So far about half of the songs on Celtic Angel are going to be well known traditional Celtic music and the other half will be comprised of more obscure (but absolutely gorgeous) Celtic songs and even a couple original songs of my own composed in the same style. Should be a very worthy album!

Derek is heading off to Calgary next week with friends Sam and Jen. I originally was going to go (but was waffling a little, which drives Derek INSANE) but have decided that I need some home time more than I need to go to Calgary in July (isn't it 34 degrees there or something crazy like that?). I may very well pack up my massage chair and go to Victoria for the week (I would bring my harp but Derek will be taking our utility vehical for the travel space... which reminds me:

For those of you who haven't heard yet (because we were keeping it a secret from our parents), Derek and I bought a 2006 Subaru Impreza sport wagon (we call her Midnight for her dark blue colour). It had 33 km on it when we drove it off the lot on May 29 (and is now over 2500). We have been really enjoying her. Ahhh... the luxury of air conditioning... and power EVERYTHING... and cargo space... and waterproof-ness... and starting when you put the key in the ignition and turn it! I love my car!

Well, it's off to class for me! Have a beautiful day everyone! I know I will! :)

It does get to 34, though when it does it's much less painful than it is here when its 34.

And here I wanted to show you some Calgary bits.. :( You guys will both have to come out again, and sooner rather than later!
